Latrobe City Council will undertake reconstruction works on Bank Street in Traralgon, starting Monday 20 July 2026.

As part of the works, a section of Bank Street, between the Princes Highway and west of McNulty Drive, will be closed in both directions. Traffic will need to use alternative routes while the closure is in place.

Although Council generally aims to keep roads open during construction works; in this case, it is being closed to ensure the safety of road and rail users.

The road closure is expected to remain in place for approximately three months, subject to weather conditions.

The works will involve road reconstruction to address ageing and damaged road pavement and upgrade existing road assets.
