Kiama Council is once again helping locals to live sustainably with a series of free workshops held in recognition of World Environment Day (Saturday 5 June).
These workshops aim to provide residents with advice and tips in a fun and interactive environment.
The workshops include the return of our fabulous popular Clothes Swap Party, as well as the ever-popular Home Composting Workshop and Birds Walk and Talk at Spring Creek Wetlands.
This year we've added a Visible Mending Workshop to show participants beautiful ways to repair clothes otherwise headed for landfill.
We also added an Introduction to Permaculture to make you familiar with the principles and ethics that govern permaculture design
For something less rigorous and more indoors Kiama Library is hosting an Environmental Film Screening.
The free workshops are available to residents of Kiama Municipality.
Bookings are essential.
