World Immunisation Week - 24 to 30 April 2022

NCIRS

World Immunisation Week is celebrated globally in the last week of April to highlight the collective action needed and to promote the use of vaccines to protect people of all ages against disease.

With the theme, 'Long Life for All', the 2022 World Health Organisation (WHO) campaign encourages awareness of the value vaccines contribute to health outcomes when delivered through high-quality immunisation programs. This is particularly pertinent as we collaborate on the next phase of the global COVID-19 vaccination program, whilst also ensuring routine immunisations remain on track.

At NCIRS we acknowledge the work of our staff, colleagues and collaborators across Australia and globally in the delivery of immunisation programs.
