Wounding Investigation, Mooloolaba

Police are investigating after three people were injured in a physical altercation at Mooloolaba last night, June 29.

Initial investigations indicate that around 9:55pm, emergency services were called to Palm Drive in relation to a disturbance and that two people had been stabbed.

Officers arrived a short time later and located a 36-year-old Caboolture man and a 30-year-old Springwood man, who had both sustained serious injuries.

Both men were taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for treatment.

A 54-year-old Mooloolaba man was also located with injuries and was transported to Nambour Hospital for treatment.

A crime scene was declared and investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have relevant information or CCTV/dashcam vision to come forward.
