She consolidates her early love of impactful art along with a thoughtful and personalised interior design approach. Sue believes art plays an important role in creating unique and beautiful spaces.

About Vikki Laskowski

Venture into Room 2 and explore a fascinating array of striking abstract and landscape works and creative ceramic teapots by Vikki Laskowski.

Vikki's handcrafted glazed ceramic tea vessels are notable for their fanciful contours, while her abstract works are a playground of visual delight inspiring the viewer to create their own narrative of what each piece could signify.

The artist's stunning landscape painting, featuring three pelicans, is achieved through the medium of oil on canvas.

Painting, drawing and pottery are Vikki's lifelong pursuits. She teaches watercolour at the University of the Third Age, Croydon and has exhibited at Steps Gallery, Lygon Street as part of an international exhibition organised by the Polish Art Foundation.

Looking at art objects always brings forth a sort of excitement in Vikki, an interest in finding a message, an inspiration - eliciting positive feelings.

In presenting her work at Wyreena she hopes for everyone to see her work and feel excited too.

Myra Carter is an abstract artist who enjoys creating vibrant and textural works. Through her art, the artist aims to spread a feeling of joy and delight in celebrating the beauty of colour.

Her artistic process involves letting the artwork speak to her as she develops the interplay of different textures and colours on canvas.

Kellie Hoinville is a self-taught photographer with a passion for the natural world, with her work centred around portraiture, landscapes, wildlife, travel and street photography.

She's travelled to over 25 countries in the past decade, capturing people and places along the way, and her passion for the environment and interculturalism can be seen throughout her work.

Kellie uses one camera, two lenses and minimal post-production editing. She's also working to minimise her carbon footprint and impact on the environment by using repurposed, recycled and eco-friendly products.

She hopes the audience feels a sense of connection with another person or place on the other side of the world.
