The Sydney resident held one of the seven division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4633, drawn Saturday 13 December 2025. Each division one winning entry pocketed $919,794.14.
When we called the gleeful man, he shared he'd struggled to sleep since discovering his windfall.
"I know why you're calling!" he cheered.
"It feels amazing. I can't believe it. I saw it Saturday night, and I was just stunned. I didn't get much sleep after that.
"Thank you so much. It's really not sunk in.
"I play pretty much each week, so it's pretty surreal."
When asked how he'd enjoy his win, the regular player shared his priority was to make life easier for those closest to him.
"It's life-changing for our family," he said.
"I'll be able to use it for our mortgage, and I'll help my wife and children.
"Once reality sets in, we'll do something exciting to celebrate."
The winning System 10 QuickPick entry was purchased at Yagoona Newsagency, 462-464 Hume Highway, Yagoona.
