Yarn Bombing a Local Lane

SALA Festival

is coming in August and we need your help to create a huge yarn bomb in a local laneway! Local textile artist Pat Ingram from PJ Arts is working with us to run the project and also supply members of the community with crochet and knitting kits. If you already have spare yarn and would like to make some shapes to add to the project, you are very welcome to contribute too.

If you've never done it before, this is the perfect time to give it a go, as the bags include a beginners guide and our libraries will be sharing a video of Pat creating her shapes this week to help you.

The finished shapes, pompoms or finger knitting can be dropped off at any of our City of PAE Libraries before 31 July. Pat will be assembling the pieces and installing the artwork in the lane way at the beginning of August.
