Yarra Libraries is happy to announce that Fitzroy Library is now an affiliate library of FamilySearch.
FamilySearch provides free access to billions of historical records from over 130 countries. You can now also search exclusive local and national archives, as well as get personalised support from staff with accessing FamilySeach. Accessing FamilySearch through Fitzroy Library unlocks additional records otherwise only accessible through a FamilySearch centre.
How to access FamilySearch:
- Log onto the local history computer at Fitzroy Library
- Visit the Online Resources page of Yarra Libraries, then click on FamilySearch
- Create a free FamilySearch Account.
