At a time when we should be celebrating togetherness and peace, we condemn this senseless act of violence and reaffirm our commitment to diversity, inclusion and unity.
Yarra Ranges Council Mayor, Cr Richard Higgins said the tragedy has shaken communities across Australia.
"Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones and to everyone impacted by this horrific act. Yarra Ranges is a place that values compassion, respect and unity, and we will continue to stand together against violence and hate".
