You can't trust too many journalists: Bernardi

Australian Conservatives Release

Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi has lamented the state of politics after this week's expose of two senior One Nation officials recorded trying to solicit multi-million dollar donations from America's gun lobby.

The Daily Telegraph reports, an explosive Al Jazeera documentary recorded Pauline Hanson's chief of staff James Ashby and One Nation's Queensland leader Steve Dickson meeting with the National Rifle Association in Washington DC in September as they asked for funding while saying they wanted to weaken Australia's stringent gun laws.

Senator Bernardi has told Paul Murray Live on Sky News, the incident should make all politicians more wary.
