Shellharbour City Council is calling on young local artists to take part in the 2026 Youth Art & Design Exhibition held at the Shellharbour Civic Centre.
The exhibition, in celebration of Youth Week is open to young people aged 12-24 who live, study, or have a strong connection to the Shellharbour region.
Artists working in all mediums; including painting, drawing, photography, digital art, mixed media, sculpture and more are encouraged to submit their work.

Shellharbour City Mayor Chris Homer said the exhibition provides an important platform for young people to express themselves and share their creative talents with the wider community.
"Our young people bring fresh perspectives, bold ideas and extraordinary imagination," he said.
"The Youth Art Exhibition is a chance for them to tell their stories, build confidence, and have their work showcased in a professional public setting."
The exhibition will be displayed in the Shellharbour Civic Centre for the entire month of April, offering emerging artists the opportunity to have their work seen by hundreds of visitors.
How to Apply
Applications are open until Wednesday March 18, and young artists can submit their work online via the official registration form.
Entry is free, and both individual and collaborative works are welcome.
