Cardinia Shire's young people are set to light up the stage and shred the skate ramp at this year's Pakenham Show.
Cardinia Shire Council's Youth Services team and the Amplify youth committee are proud to present a vibrant line-up of local talent on the main stage from 9am until 4pm. The program will feature 12 outstanding young performers aged 12 to 24, showcasing a diverse mix of musical styles and experience.
Cardinia Shire's Youth Services team is also partnering with The Y Australia to host a free epic skate, scoot, and BMX competition. The event is being held as part of Skate Park Leagues – Australia's biggest skate, scooter and BMX competition series.
Cardinia Shire Mayor Councillor Brett Owen said he was looking forward to seeing the shire's young people shine at this year's show.
"Cardinia Shire is home to a such an inspiring community of young people, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the talent they'll bring to this year's show," Mayor Owen said.
"From the main stage to the skate ramp, our young people are set to put on an unforgettable show for the whole community.
"This is the first year we've hosted a program on the main stage, and I can't wait to see what our talented young performers have in store. The skate competition is always a highlight too, with so much skill, talent and sportsmanship on display."
