Youth Charged - Unlawful Entries - Darwin

Northern Territory Police have charged a 16-year-old male with property offences.

The youth and two others are alleged to have broken into a business in Parap and caused damage to the building on Wednesday, 25 April, Northern Territory Police say.

The youth is also alleged to have broken into an office in Leanyer and stolen items on Saturday, 19 May. It is believed the unlawful entry caused approximately $20,000 worth of damage.

Police spoke with the youth in relation to these incidents yesterday morning.

He has been charged with:

  • 2 x Unlawful entry - building
  • 2 x Stealing
  • 2 x Damage to property
    • He is due to appear in court at a later date.
