Young people from across Colac Otway can pick up their cameras, phones and tablets and get snapping for the third annual Youth Photography Competition.
Entries are now open for the 2025 competition, which has the theme Moments: Captured by Colac Otway Youth.
Entries close Monday 15 September.
Youth Engagement Project Officer Chelsea Sharp encouraged young people aged 12 to 25 to enter the contest.
"Whether you're a seasoned shutterbug or just love snapping pics on your phone, we want to see your take on this year's theme: Moments," Chelsea said.
"We've had a fantastic response to the competition for the past two years, and we're looking forward to seeing some amazing images again this year," she said.
"There's a lot of talented young people in Colac Otway, and it's exciting to see their perspectives shine through in their photos."
Standout entries from the 2025 Youth Photography Competition will be professionally printed and displayed in a public exhibition at COPACC from Tuesday 30 September to Sunday 19 October. All photographs will also go on display in an online exhibition.
Community members will be able to vote for their favourite photo as part of the People's Choice Award.
"Last year we had more than 40 entries, and more than 1500 votes from across Australia for the People's Choice Award," Chelsea said.
"This exhibition offers young photographers a great opportunity to showcase their work to the wider community, celebrating the creativity and perspectives of Colac Otway's youth."
