Youths arrested over West Lakes break-in, SA

Two teenage boys will face court after they allegedly broke into a West Lakes construction site overnight, according to SA Police.

Just after 11.30pm on Monday 20 March, police patrols responded to calls of two persons seen on a construction site of the new housing development on Banksia Drive at West Lakes.

Henley Beach patrols were quick to respond and on arrival saw two teenage boys run from a transporter workers hut, a quick search rounded up both suspects.

Two boys aged 16-year-old from Seaton have been arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass and property damage, after they kicked in the door of the transportable hut and caused extensive damage inside.

Both youths have been bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Youth Court at a later date.
