10-Year Partnership Recognizes Caravan and Camping Holidays

This weekend sees the return of the new Feel More. Live More campaign designed to continue the growth of the powerhouse caravan and camping industry in NSW.

The half million dollar campaign will see television and digital ads running statewide and interstate and is an initiative of the Caravan & Camping Industry Association (CCIA) NSW in partnership with Destination NSW.

It is the latest phase of the decade-long strategic partnership between the NSW peak body for the caravan and camping industry and Destination NSW, and is supported by five of the major park groups in the State being Reflections Holiday Parks, NRMA Parks & Resorts, Tasman Holiday Parks, Ingenia Holidays and Discovery Holiday Parks.

With a reach across Sydney, northern NSW, southern NSW, the Gold Coast, the ACT and regional Victoria, the campaign will also attract visitors back to flood-affected towns and regions and help drive their economic recovery.

"We are very pleased to once again be partnering with Destination NSW in promoting our sector and driving visitation to NSW regional tourism destinations and the amazing caravan parks on offer" CCIA NSW CEO Lyndel Gray said.

"Our sector is recovering well from the significant challenges of recent years, and last year NSW saw 4.2 million caravan and camping trips, a 6% increase on the previous year generating $2.8 billion worth of spending supporting local economies, job creation and regional communities.

"Caravan and camping holidays are hugely popular because they offer some of the most desirable, unique, affordable and accessible experiences with options for almost any budget."
