Since its inception in 2006, the event has raised more than $890,000 for vital diabetes programs and research.
Deputy Premier, Guy Barnett, said this was a fantastic opportunity to get behind the more than 32,000 Tasmanians living with diabetes.
"The Pollie Pedal is a big event on the calendar and something I encourage all Tasmanians to get behind," the Deputy Premier said.
"I have lived with type 1 diabetes since 1997, and this unique three-day cycling event is something I proudly take part in each and every year.
"I am so pleased to see that some $38,000 has been raised for the 2026 ride, supporting vital diabetes research.
"With just over a week to go, there are still opportunities to donate, to volunteer, to sponsor or to register as a cyclist.
"I look forward to another successful year and to taking part in this excellent cause."
