A Revesby woman has revealed she unknowingly carried a winning Lucky Lotteries ticket worth $200,000 in her handbag for more than 100 days.
The Sydney resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1772 drawn Wednesday 25 February 2026. She looks forward to a neat $200,000.
Remarkably, last week, an Ingleburn man uncovered a $100,000 Lucky Lotteries win sitting in his wallet for 72 days.
The winning entry wasn't registered to The Lott Members Club, which meant we had no way to contact the ticketholder and had to wait for her to check her ticket and come forward.
Months after the draw, the winning woman finally arrived at The Lott Head Office in New South Wales and stepped into the exclusive winner lounge.
"It's been in my handbag since February. I still can't believe it's real," she confessed when speaking with us.
"I went to buy some new tickets today and that's when I remembered I had an envelope of unchecked lottery tickets sitting in my handbag.
"The newsagency team member put the tickets through the checker and told me, 'I think you've got a big win here.' I was so shocked.
"I raced into the city straight away to claim my prize.
"It made my day, my week, my entire year.
"All these years, I've wondered who wins the lottery, and now I can say me. It's just incredible."
With $200,000 soon to boost her bank account, she was looking forward to dusting off her passport and booking a dream holiday.
"I've always wanted to see the Northern Lights, so I think that's what we'll do," she said.
"I recently retired, so this is a beautiful bonus. It's such a blessing."
Her winning entry was purchased at Leichhardt Marketplace Newsagency, Shop 44, 138 Flood Street.
