The results of REIWA's 2025 Council Election were announced at the Institute's 107th Annual General Meeting.
In the General Electorate, six members nominated for the two available positions. Councillor Christopher Tana was re-elected and Hayden Groves was appointed after a three-year break.
Councillor Peta McKenzie was the only nominee for the Northern and Eastern Regional Electoral Area and was therefore elected to Council unopposed.
REIWA President Suzanne Brown congratulated all three Councillors on their appointments.
"I congratulate Peta and Chris on their re-election and look forward to welcoming Hayden back to Council," she said.
"Peta and Chris have made valuable contributions to Council and I look forward to their continued input.
"Hayden has great experience serving previously as REIWA and REIA President and is a great advocate for our industry.
"I welcome his expertise and insights which will add real strength to the discussions and decisions of Council."
The 2025-26 REIWA Councillors are:

Councillor Joe White also completed his term on Council at this year's AGM, following 15 years of service, including two years as President from 2022–2024.
Ms Brown said Mr White's long service had left a lasting mark on the Institute and the wider industry.
"We have all greatly benefited from Joe's knowledge and experience. His leadership and advocacy, particularly when it comes to housing supply, have been instrumental in shaping the Institute and the industry," Ms Brown said.
REIWA's annual accounts were adopted at the AGM, with both Ms Brown and Acting CEO Kalien Selby presenting their reports on the 2024–25 financial year.
