2025 Transnational Deals Prioritize Rights, Safety, Diligence

The International Labour Organization (ILO) has released the 2025 update of the newly concluded, or renewed, Transnational Company Agreements (TCAs) in its Repository on Cross-Border Social Dialogue. The update shows that new agreements continue to focus on topics that are traditionally covered in TCAs, in particular fundamental rights at work, occupational safety and health, and due diligence principles in supply chains.

It also points to stronger attention on environmental sustainability and just transitions, as well as new provisions addressing digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

The Repository strengthens the ILO's knowledge base on cross-border social dialogue and provides policymakers, social partners and researchers with a key reference to conduct research on evolving practices for cross border social dialogue agreements.
