Nominations for the Clarence Valley Citizen of the Year Awards have now closed, and the field of outstanding contenders are finalised.
The Clarence Valley Citizen of the Year Awards highlight the inspiring work ethic of the people and groups nominated, as well as their drive to create positive change, build up local resources, and promote inclusion and community values across the Clarence Valley.
"I would like to say a huge congratulations to all of our 2026 nominees," 2026 Citizen of the Year Awards ambassador, Councillor Cristie Yager, said.
"The work you put in to make the Clarence Valley the place it is does not go unnoticed and your nominations prove that. These awards are more than recognition, they're about shining a light on our local heroes who make the Clarence Valley the beautiful place it is.
