2026 Transurban Community Grants Now Open

Our 2026 Community Grants program is now open, offering grants of up to $10,000 to extend a helping hand to grassroots project and charities making an impact near our roads in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

We are looking for community organisations and projects that improve road safety, support financial inclusion, and help the local environment.

Getting behind local impact

Our program is tailored to support groups or projects near our roads. By focusing our grants, we want to deliver a helpful hand right where our roads connect with local lives.

At least one grant in each eligible state is also dedicated for a First Nations organisation or project, reinforcing our commitment to reconciliation.

Choice Awards

Successful grant recipients will automatically be entered into our Choice Awards in November. Finalists will have the chance to win:

  • People's Choice First Place: An additional $10,000 grant
  • People's Choice Runner-Up: An additional $5,000 grant
  • Employee's Choice Winner: An additional $5,000 grant (selected by our employees)

Who can apply?

Organisations must hold Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status or be registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and within the eligible local government areas in New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria.

Applications close Friday, 9 October 2026.
