A 58 year old male from Ravenswood has this evening been charged with wounding. This relates to the stabbing of a 59 year old male in Lambert Street, Ravenswood on the afternoon of Sunday the 11th November 2018. The male has been detained in custody to appear in the Launceston Court of Petty Sessions at 2:15pm on Monday the 12th November 2018, Tasmania Police say.
The male that was injured during the incident was treated for a minor injury at the Launceston General Hospital. He has since been discharged.
A 26 year old male Ravenswood Male has also been charged with common assault in relation to the same incident. The male was bailed to appear in the Launceston Court of Petty Sessions on Wednesday 2nd January 2019.
