A chance to have a say in action against cyberbullying

Queensland Police are supporting the Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women as they recruit attendees for CONVO2019.

If you're a young person with ideas, views and a vision for change to end cyberbullying, then read on.

CONVO2019 presents an opportunity to work with the government to co-create a campaign using your valuable insight and your ideas.

This opportunity will provide more than 100 Queenslanders aged 12 to 25-years-old with the chance to assist the Queensland Government in designing a campaign to put an end to cyber bullying.

A recommendation from the Queensland Anti-Cyberbullying Taskforce report, Adjust our Settings: A community approach to address cyberbullying among children and young people in Queensland was to co-create a campaign with a diverse group of young Queenslanders.

The event day will be held on Monday, October 21 at the Queensland State Netball Centre.

If you're interested to have your views heard and fit the age bracket, applications to register your interest in attending the event close at 12pm on Friday, October 4.

Let's all work together to keep everyone safe.
