A brand new, family-friendly arts experience is waiting for you this March, in the sleepy surf town of Crescent Head NSW.
Featuring Australia’s best in circus, flow and visual arts coming together for three jam-packed days of workshops and showcases, this event will invigorate and inspire people of all ages.
The nature-filled Waves Campground will be the beautiful setting for this boutique arts gathering, with options for powered campsites and bunkhouses. Combining the best parts of a circus arts event with the creativity-focused Australian festival culture, this will truly be a multi-faceted arts experience.
Community-driven and alcohol-free, it will also include a strong focus on sustainability, participation, inclusion and positive social interactions. The daytime program will feature workshops, discussions, roving performances and live art creation, including a children’s timetable on the Saturday.
Nightly showcases will deliver mind-blowing skills and feats of amazement, uniquely programmed and presented just for GLOW Fest. A custom-built main stage will serve as the stunning centrepiece for sound, lighting and aerial performance throughout the event.
Striding forward as larger festivals are forced to postpone in a Covid-sensitive environment, GLOW Fest is the perfect chance to experience something unique and unforgettable. It will be the only arts festival of its kind in Australia this year, providing a much-needed lifeline to connect and inspire the circus communities along the East Coast. Tailoring its program to all levels of experience and interest, there is sure to be something for everyone!
Discussions are ongoing between GLOW Fest and Waves Campground regarding best practice in the festival space during a pandemic. Organisers are confident they have built in the flexibility required to go ahead with the event.
Tickets are available now and are strictly limited to abide by COVID-19 safety guidelines.
