As of February 26, the Plains of Abraham Museum offers you the opportunity to learn about the Plains’ sports heritage with Shoot, Score!, a family treasure hunt to take out. Take advantage also of spring break week to visit our interactive Battles 1759-1760 exhibition and appreciate nature in the city on foot, cross-country skis, snowshoes or skates!

Treasure hunt to take out. Learn about the Plains of Abraham’s sports heritage! An entertaining activity to enjoy independently in a family bubble on the Plains.

Plains of Abraham Museum
Museum open on February 19, 20 and 21, then daily from February 26. Free for youths ages 17 and under from February 26 to March 7. Schedule and rates online.
Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and walking
Trails and paths offered free of charge at the heart of the city. The Plains of Abraham provide 13.9 km of ski trails laid out for beginner, intermediate and expert cross-country skiers, a 3.8 km trail (round trip) for snowshoeing, and 6.7 km of walking trails.
Access to rest areas and equipment rental suspended for the time being. Waxing room closed for the season. Free. Trails map online.
Plains of Abraham skating rink
Refrigerated skating rink free of charge on the sports field west of the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec. The Plains of Abraham skating rink is a partnership initiative of the Ville de Québec and the National Battlefields Commission.
Access to the rink and skaters’ chalet is limited on the basis of capacity. Equipment loans and food services are suspended for the time being. Free. Schedule online.
Health measures in effect
Nothing has been left to chance to ensure the safety of our staff and visitors: itinerary with signage between the halls, limited number of visitors to exhibitions, hydroalcoholic gel hand sanitizer, protective measures (plexiglass). Wearing a face covering or mask is mandatory in the Museum and washroom facilities.
