AAMI Park To Host Hahn Australia Cup Final 2026

Football Australia has confirmed that AAMI Park, Melbourne will host the Hahn Australia Cup Final 2026 between South Melbourne FC and Melbourne Victory FC on Saturday, 10 October.

The showpiece fixture will mark the first all-Victorian Hahn Australia Cup Final of the modern era, bringing together one of Australian football's most historic clubs and one of the most successful teams in the competition's history.

South Melbourne secured its place in the Final with a come-from-behind 3-1 victory over Lions FC at Lakeside Stadium, with substitute Bul Juach scoring a second-half hat-trick.

The result sees South Melbourne advance to its maiden Hahn Australia Cup Final after previously reaching the Semi-Finals in 2017 and 2024, while becoming the third non-A-League club to reach the decider.

Melbourne Victory were the first side to book their place in the Final, defeating Sydney FC 2-0 at Jubilee Stadium on Wednesday, 9 September.

Keegan Jelacic opened the scoring inside two minutes before a second half own goal sealed Victory's passage to a fourth Hahn Australia Cup Final.

Victory has previously lifted the trophy in 2015 and 2021, both at AAMI Park, and finished runners-up to Macarthur FC at the same venue in 2024.
