Abandoned vehicle auction 10 September 2019

Notice is hereby given that under Section 27 of the Local Law No 1 (Administration) 2016, the below mentioned vehicles which are suspected by the Cairns Regional Council of being abandoned and which Council has detained at its McCoombe Street vehicle yard, 145-153 McCoombe Street, Bungalow, will be sold by Public Auction at 10am on Tuesday 10 September 2019, and vehicles will be available for inspection from 9am on the day of the auction. Payment must be made directly after the auction at the Cairns Regional Council McCoombe St Pound Depot 145-161 McCoombe and no payment after the auction date will be accepted.

Cash and EFTPOS accepted.

Release of the vehicles purchased is Tuesday immediately after the auction for two hours and Wednesday 10am to 1pm on the week of the auction.

  • Covered shoes must be worn.
  • No children under 12 allowed in the impound yard.
  • No smoking permitted in the impound yard.
