Abduction investigation leads to four arrests

Four people have been arrested following a two-month long investigation into the abduction of a woman in Central Wellington.

The incident occurred in the Central Business District in the early hours of Wednesday 13 March.

"A team of officers and Police support staff have been working diligently since this incident took place and today conducted two search warrants - one in central Wellington, the other in the eastern suburbs," Detective Senior Sergeant Warwick McKee says.

"Four people have been arrested and a number of vehicles seized.
