Additional charges laid after fatal crash at North Richmond

Further charges have been laid against a woman following a crash that killed a man in North Richmond last year.

About 4.30am on Saturday 9 November 2019, emergency services were called to Bells Line of Road, North Richmond, following reports two vehicles had collided.

A male passenger, aged 41, died at the scene.

The drivers of both cars, a 22-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, were transported to Westmead Hospital with serious injuries.

On Sunday 10 November 2019, the 40-year-old woman attended Parramatta Police Station where she was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, negligent driving (occasioning death), negligent driving (occasions grievous bodily harm) and not keep left of dividing line.

Following results from tests taken after the collision, the 40-year-old woman will face further charges of aggravated dangerous driving occasioning death, aggravated dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and high-range PCA.

She will appear in Parramatta Local Court on Thursday 5 March 2020.
