Mascot dentist slapped with more charges over indecent assaults

Detectives have laid additional charges against a dentist as part of an investigation into a series of alleged indecent assaults in Sydney's inner south.

In June 2021, officers from South Sydney Police Area Command commenced an investigation after reports that two women, aged 25 and 41, had been indecently assaulted by a man while undergoing a dental procedure at a Mascot practice.

Following inquiries, investigators charged a 59-year-old man with three offences. He remains before the courts.

Following further investigations, an additional two offences will be laid at court today (Thursday 4 November 2021).

The charges include two counts of aggravated indecent assault - victim under authority of offender.

Police will allege in court that the man indecently assaulted three female patients at a Mascot dental practice between 2015 and 2021.

The man remains on conditional bail and is due to appear at Downing Centre Local Court.
