Additional charges laid over firearms parts importation

An additional 37 charges have been brought against a 44-year-old Berowra man who faced court in August 2019 after allegedly importing firearms parts into Australia, bringing the total number of charges to 40.

The man was arrested on 9 August 2019 and at the time and charged with three counts of importing Tier 2 goods without lawful authorisation, contrary to section 233BAB (5) of the Customs Act 1901 (Cth).
