Police have uncovered a clandestine drug laboratory at a rural Ashbourne property.
On Wednesday 5 August, members from Serious Organised Crime Branch located a suspected large scale clandestine drug laboratory at a property at Ashbourne.
A significant amount of equipment and chemicals consistent with the manufacturing of a controlled drug were seized.
As a result of an investigation on Saturday 8 August, a 37-year-old man from West Beach was arrested by members of Serious and Organised Crime Branch.
He was charged with manufacturing a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug and trafficking a controlled drug.
He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on the 28 October.
