Adoption of Hills DCP 2012 Part D Section 22

Adoption of The Hills Development Control Plan 2012 Part D Section 22 - Circa Commercial Precinct and amendments to Part B Section 6 - Business and Part C Section 1 - Parking.

At its Ordinary Meeting of 13 July 2021 Council resolved to adopt amendments to The Hills DCP 2012, including a new section Part D Section 22 - Circa Commercial Precinct and amendments to Part B Section 6 - Business and Part C Section 1 - Parking. The amendments will facilitate development in the Circa Precinct, Bella Vista.

These amendments to the Hills DCP 2012 were prepared in support of the Planning Proposal (19/2015/PLP) which amends the development standards applying to land in the Circa Commercial Precinct, Bella Vista under The Hills Local Environmental Plan 2019 to enable additional commercial development to be permitted on the land.

The new development controls seeks to guide development outcomes on the site by stipulating outcomes such as minimum setbacks, areas for public domain, active frontages and parking requirements.

At its meeting of 13 July 2021 Council also resolved to progress the associated Planning Proposal to finalisation (once the associated Voluntary Planning Agreement is entered into and registered on the title of the land).

The amendments to the Hills DCP will come into force on the date the planning proposal (19/2015/PLP) is finalised and associated amendments to The Hills Local Environmental Plan 2019 are gazetted.
