The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have provided an update on the host nations and dates for the AFC U20 Women's Asian Cup 2022 and AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup 2022.
At a meeting on Wednesday 7 April, the AFC Executive Committee decided to award the hosting rights of the AFC U20 Women's Asian Cup 2022 to the Uzbekistan Football Association.
The Executive Committee also revealed the new dates from April 4-17, 2022.
Also confirmed was the AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup 2022, which will be hosted by the Football Association of Indonesia from May 9-22.
Australia is currently scheduled to host qualifying round 1 competitions for both the AFC U20 Women's Asian Cup and the AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup.
These are poised to be held in Shepparton and Cessnock respectively with dates to be officially confirmed in due course.
