Affray, Assault Charges After Soccer Brawl - Revesby

A man has been charged after a brawl involving players and spectators at a sporting event in Sydney's south-west yesterday.

Emergency services were alerted when a fight began about 3.30pm (Saturday 30 May 2026), at an under 17s boys' soccer match in a park on Iluka Street, Revesby.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated an 18-year-old man at the scene before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital where he received further treatment for injuries including a bite to his back.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command were informed that a number of spectators had entered the field of play after a fight broke out between players.

Following inquiries, police arrested a 47-year-old Greenacre man.

He was taken to Bankstown Police Station where he's been charged with affray, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He's been granted conditional bail to appear in Bankstown Local Court on Thursday 25 June 2026.

Inquiries are continuing.
