AgForce reveals its Indigenous Engagement Policy

AgForce has revealed its first ever Indigenous Engagement Policy, in preparation for Australia's Voice referendum and the broader emerging conversation.

The groundbreaking policy includes seven guiding principles and five proposed initial elements outlining our approach.

At the referendum, likely to be held in October and November this year, Australians will be asked to vote yes or no on a single question: "A Proposed Law: to alter the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice. Do you approve this proposed alteration?"

We acknowledge the strong desire of members and community to get as much information as possible ahead of this vote, and in that spirit provide here the full Uluru Statement from the Heart - requested by many members.

AgForce believes landholders and industry can and should play a pivotal role in these emerging and important conversations.
