Local primary producers looking to diversify their business through agritourism are encouraged to apply for Round 2 of MidCoast Council's Agritourism Product Development and Mentoring Program.
Following the success of the first-round last year, the free program will provide tailored one-on-one mentoring to help participants develop, expand or refine agritourism experiences that showcase the region's farms, produce and people.
Agritourism creates opportunities for visitors to connect with authentic agricultural experiences while providing primary producers with new ways to diversify their business and generate additional income.
Whether it's developing a new farm experience or strengthening an existing offering, successful applicants will receive practical support tailored to their business.
Delivered by industry specialists Sparrowly Group and supported by MidCoast Council, the program includes personalised mentoring over several months through online sessions, practical resources and an on-farm site visit.
The program will run from September 2026 through to March 2027, giving participants time to develop and implement their ideas with ongoing support.
The program is open to commercial primary producers operating within the MidCoast Council LGA who are looking to develop, expand or strengthen an agritourism experience. Businesses that participated in Round 1 are not eligible to apply.
Expressions of Interest close Friday 28 August 2026.
