Ahmadiyya Muslims in Adelaide Host Interfaith Iftar Dinner for Ramadan

The Holy month of Ramadan has started for Muslims across the world. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is hosting two events marking this Holy month:

1) Interfaith Seminar on 'Fasting in My Religion', featuring speakers from eight different faiths and community groups

  • Details: 29th March 2023 at 10.30am at Oasis Centre, Flinders University

2) Iftar Dinner and Interfaith Symposium

  • Details: Sunday 9th April 2023 at 4.15pm to 6.30pm at Mahmood Mosque (6-8 Toogood Avenue Beverley SA 5009)

The Imam of the community, Imam Kamran Tahir, said:

"We invite all to join us in this blessed month for an Iftar, which represents the meal breaking the fast. Ramadan is a blessed month for Muslims in which Muslims fast from dawn to dusk, whilst focusing more on their spirituality and helping the needy."
