We're seeking recognised leaders in AI-not just users-who are committed to shaping how surgical innovation is introduced, governed, and taught. The group's work will span defining the scope of AI in surgery, developing standards for education and training, setting credentialling and ethical guidelines, and advocating for safe, equitable access to AI-enabled care.

To ensure broad perspectives, we welcome applications from Fellows and Trainees across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, representing diverse specialties, locations, genders, and career stages.
Membership is for an initial one-year term. The first meeting will be held on Monday 29 September at 6pm AEST, with meetings scheduled every eight weeks thereafter.
