The 54-year-old faces a total of six charges, including four charges of obtaining financial advantage by deception under section 82(1) of the Crimes Act and two charges under section 581(1) of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act for fraudulently obtaining payment.
WorkSafe alleges that between March 2021 and February 2025, the worker received WorkCover payments into their bank and superannuation accounts totalling $411,914 while falsely representing her working hours and earnings.
The matter is listed for a filing hearing at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 23 March 2026.
