Alleged trespass onto a property at Honeywood

Shortly after 2pm on 12 February 2020 police responded to an alleged trespass onto a rural property in Honeywood. It was reported that a gold coloured Holden Calais had entered onto the property without the owner's consent. It was further reported that the occupant may be in possession of a firearm.

Police attended the area, and using the assistance of the Police Westpac Rescue Helicopter, a search of the property was conducted. The vehicle involved was located by police and initial investigations led them to conduct a search at a nearby residence.

Investigations are continuing and police are seeking the assistance of anyone who may have seen a gold coloured Holden Calais travelling in the area of Honeywood. Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
