Allens advises on Victorian Alternative Quarantine Accommodation

Allens has advised Multiplex on its successful bid to deliver to the Federal Government the Victorian Alternative Quarantine Accommodation Hub (National Resilience Centre) in Mickleham, Melbourne.

As head contractor, Multiplex will be responsible for delivering a new purpose-built centre to support Australia's response to the current pandemic and any future pandemics. Multiplex will work with a panel of modular contractors in order to ensure the design is delivered efficiently.

Partner David Donnelly, who led the Allens team, said 'If there were ever a piece of critical infrastructure, this is it. We are very pleased to have teamed up with Multiplex again for this project which will be crucial in the continued response to COVID-19.'

Multiplex and Allens have recently worked together to deliver successful bids for the New Footscray Hospital PPP and the Western Sydney Airport Terminal project, among other projects.
