Almost six times over limit in Toorak

A woman was found to be allegedly almost six times over the alcohol limit following a crash in Toorak last night.

Police were called to reports a woman had crashed her car into the back of a stationary vehicle on Toorak Road, near the intersection with St Georges Road, about 7.45pm.

The driver, a 38-year-old Port Melbourne woman, was taken to a police station for an evidentiary breath test.

Her licence was immediately suspended after she returned an alleged reading of .287.

It is expected the woman will be charged on summons in relation to drink driving and other traffic matters.
