Amcor Backs UK's Next-Gen Beauty Innovators

ZURICH, May 21, 2026 - Amcor (NYSE: AMCR, ASX: AMC), a global leader in developing and producing responsible packaging solutions, has become a sponsor for the second edition of the Breakout Beauty UK accelerator program, which helps to scale the UK's most exciting high potential beauty brands and deliver meaningful commercial impact across the beauty industry.

Designed by Growth Studio, Breakout Beauty UK is a fully funded ten-week accelerator for beauty founders seeking to become multi-million-pound brands, win major retail listings and become household names. In 2025, with backing from Boots and TikTok Shop and from over 200 applications, two brands secured over £350,000 in support including launches into many Boots stores. This year offers total program support of over £1 million including a prize value worth £850,000.

The ten-week program provides ten chosen finalists with help in developing a retail strategy, growing their community and sales, and attracting media and investor attention. The winners are selected at the end of this process following a pitch to a panel of experts, investors and buyers.

For Amcor, involvement in Breakout Beauty UK provides the ideal opportunity to highlight how the company's manufacturing expertise adds value to growing and start-up brands.

"We have a strong record of working with new brands, combining our packaging manufacturing expertise for both the beauty and retail sectors with how to navigate and satisfy requirements or regulations affecting their product," said Joe Horton, UK sales director, Amcor Global Rigid Packaging Solutions. "We are delighted to support this important initiative that helps beauty innovators expand."

Amcor offers over 5,000 standard designs for the beauty and personal care sector, which can be tailored to individual branding requirements including a wide choice of colors with a low Minimum Order Quantity.

The company's support for Breakout Beauty UK is part of its wider global sponsorship program which includes significant investment in many other start-ups and innovators. The Amcor Lift-Off initiative, for example, which was first introduced in 2022, is an open-call platform designed to identify and support start-ups working on breakthrough packaging technologies driving growth and sustainability.

"Engaging with the next generation of entrepreneurs is vital to actively shape the future of packaging," said Frank Lehmann, Amcor's vice-president, corporate venturing and open innovation. "Especially as the beauty industry is full of exciting new product developments. Through our association with Breakout Beauty, we can show that responsible packaging solutions are an important part of this work."

For Breakout Beauty UK 2026, Boots is returning as the primary anchor partner, alongside expert partners, TikTok Shop and Bird & Bird. In addition to Amcor, new business partners are IFGlobal, FDD International and CEW UK.

"Breakout Beauty UK was created to give ambitious founders the kind of access, expertise and opportunities that typically take years to build," said Paul Finch, Breakout Beauty UK chief architect & Growth Studio co-founder. "The impact we saw in our first year - from retail listings to investment interest - proved just how powerful the right support network can be. For 2026, we're scaling the programme significantly, bringing in even more partners and deeper expertise to help the next wave of beauty entrepreneurs build multi-million-pound brands and become the names everyone is talking about."
