Angle Van arrested over cannabis crop

An Angle Vale man will face court on cannabis chargers after police allegedly located a cannabis crop growing in an underground bunker yesterday.

On Tuesday 3 September, officers from the Northern District Volume Crime Section searched a home in Arabella Court at Angle Vale allegedly locating a underground bunker purposely built for the cultivation of cannabis.

A 35-year-old man from Angle Vale was arrested and charged with cultivating cannabis, possession of a prescribed equipment and the possession of a dangerous article after police found a form of capsicum spray at the house.

The arrested man was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.
