The Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) held its annual public meeting on Wednesday 10 March 2021. Members of the Australian public attended the meeting online.
The meeting provided attendees the opportunity to meet with AFMA Commissioners and discuss AFMA's progress in pursuing effective management of Commonwealth fisheries.
A presentation by Wez Norris, Chief Executive Officer provided an introduction to who AFMA are, what we do and updates on some of the issues and challenges in managing Commonwealth fisheries in Australia.
