The Green movement is tearing itself apart on renewable energy with another former Greens leader, Christine Milne, the latest to attack renewable energy projects in Tasmania.*
Ms Milne's twitter attack on important Tasmanian projects such as wind farms, a second interconnector, and even pumped hydro have confirmed the Greens cannot reconcile the tension between its protesting, NIMBY identity, and its claims to support renewable energy.
The rift further demonstrates the appalling hypocrisy of the absolutely anti-everything Greens.
This is now a test for Cassy O'Connor- will she stand up to Dr Brown and Ms Milne, or will she do the right thing and stand up for our critical renewable energy sector in Tasmania.
