Another man charged in Strike Force Petal Investigation at Waterloo

A man has been charged with multiple drug offences as part of an ongoing investigation into the supply of prohibited drugs in the Redfern area.

In December 2018, officers from South Sydney Police Area Command formed Strike Force Petal to investigate the supply of illicit drugs.

About 9.30pm yesterday (Friday 20 December 2019), officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command attended a home on Cope Street, Waterloo, and arrested a 35-year-old man for drug supply.

Police will allege that between Tuesday 19 November 2019 and Thursday 12 December 2019, the 35-year-old has supplied prohibited drugs (methylamphetamine) from his home.

The 35-year-old was arrested and taken to Mascot Police Station where he was charged with six counts of supply prohibited drugs, two counts of supply on an ongoing basis, three counts of possess prohibited drugs, deal in proceeds of crime and drive whilst disqualified.

He was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Court today (Saturday 21 December 2019).
