Police are appealing for public assistance as part of an investigation into an alleged assault at Wentworthville Train Station
About 7:50pm on Thursday 18 December 2025, emergency services were called to Wentworthville Train Station, following reports of an assault.
On arrival, police were told a fight occurred between two men on the concourse and in the station lift.
A 31-year-old man was located with facial injuries, however did not require treatment; a second man had left the scene prior to police arrival.
Officers attached to Police Transport Command Wentworthville commenced an investigation into the incident.
Police have released an image of a man they believe can assist with enquires.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 30s, of solid build with short black hair, and has tattoos behind his left ear, neck, and left bicep.
The man was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black shorts, black/gold Adidas shoes, and was carrying a white hand towel.
